Get Rid Of Smell

So, you have some sort of a smell that you want to get rid of? Perhaps it’s a smell of smoke in your car, cat urine smell or maybe dog smell in your home or maybe it’s something else. But that doesn’t matter, what does is that you want to get rid of it and you want to get rid of it fast! If that’s your situation then you’ve come to the right place! There are lots of resources here that will teach you how to get rid of smell.

Of course different types of bad odors require different solutions, which is why you should check out the articles that cover the type of smell you need to get rid of. With that said there are some things that should be useful in any situation:

The first and most obvious is using fresh air to clear out an existing smell. After all smell is nothing more than molecules in the air that we can smell. The more air you can circulate through your home, car or whatever else, the less “smelly” molecules will be left and the less smelly it will be. If you can, leave windows (in a car or home) open for the night to let the air circulate.

Other popular method is to use vinegar to absorb any smell. You can also use various cleaners and air fresheners such as fabreze to either get rid of or mask a smell. If you need to mask a smell for a specific time period you can burn some aromatize candles or use the good ol’ method of baking cookies – baking cookies will put a strong (and pleasant) smell in the air. You can cook something else, but the smell may not be as pleasant to other people as the smell of cookies.

You can also remove bad odors with vinegar. It’s very effective at absorbing bad smells plus you most likely already have it at home. You can also remove smoke smell with vinegar – use a piece of cloth with some vinegar to wipe all the surface areas in your home, office or car. Since smoke smell tends to stick to furniture, walls etc. this method is very, very effective at removing that offensive odor.

That’s about it for the general “How to get rid of smell” section. Check out other resources on this site to learn how to get rid of a specific smell, be it smoke smell, cat smell or some other smell.
